Hedgeye Risk Management is seeking a highly organized, resourceful, and self-driven Accountant to join our dynamic finance team. In this hands-on role, you’ll be essential to ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial data. You’ll own critical day-to-day accounting functions, collaborate with internal teams, and identify opportunities to streamline and automate processes. We’re looking for someone who brings sound judgment, initiative, and a solutions-oriented mindset.

IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL:
  • Record daily financial transactions, including cash receipts, A/P, and GL entries
  • Own monthly bank reconciliations and maintain accurate account balances
  • Support quarterly invoicing and revenue allocation in partnership with the sales team
  • Process vendor payments via ACH and wire transfers
  • Contribute to quarter-end close including accruals, allocations, and journal entries
  • Monitor A/R and assist with monthly collections follow-ups
  • Help implement a budgeting process and identify areas for automation
  • Prepare documentation for annual audits and support financial statement preparation
  • Develop and maintain internal financial reports
  • Provide analytical support on special projects and ad hoc financial analysis
ABOUT YOU:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (GPA 3.0+)
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant accounting/finance experience
  • Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas, analysis)
  • Working knowledge of QuickBooks or similar accounting software
  • Excellent attention to detail, communication, and organizational skills
  • Resourceful, initiative-taking mindset
  • CPA preferred, but not required
WHAT WE OFFER:
  • Annual Salary: $70,000 - $85,000
  • Bonus: This position is eligible for a discretionary bonus
